BRD 2.4 Create SMS Campaña, stage 1 of 4, Campaña Details

Create SMS Campaña is a four-stage wizard, reached at /bvoice/broadcast-new/campaigns/create/sms. The stages, shown across the top of the page, are:

  1. Campaña Details
  2. Audience
  3. Schedule
  4. Review

The stage indicator is a progress display, not a navigation control. None of the five stage labels is clickable. Move between stages with Next Step and Volver only.

Stage 1 collects the campaign's identity and its sender.

  1. Open Transmisión > Campañas and select New Campaña.
  2. Seleccione the SMS card, then Continue.
  3. Complete the Campaña Details stage:

Campaña NombreText field, placeholder Enter campaign nameThe name for the campaign. This is what appears in the Campaña column of the list, so make it identifiable months later, for example Renewal reminder, Q4. This is the only mandatory field on this stage.
Campaña DescripciónText area, placeholder Enter a brief description of this campaignWhat the campaign is for. This appears in the Descripción column. Optional.
Sender ID or Source NúmerosDropdown, placeholder Seleccione a sender IDThe number or sender identifier the message is sent from. The options are the sender identifiers provisioned to your tenant. Helper text reads "This will appear as the sender of your SMS". Optional at this stage.
ThrottleOn/off switch, off by defaultSee the note below.
  1. Seleccione Next Step to move to Audience, or Cancelar to leave without creating the campaign.

Next Step stays greyed out until Campaña Nombre contains a value. Descripción, Sender ID and Throttle can all be left untouched and the stage will still advance. This differs from Inquilino > Usuarios > Add New Usuario, where the submit button is active on an empty form.

The field carries two names in one label: Sender ID or Source Números. They are the same setting. Which one your options represent depends on what the platform has provisioned for your tenant. If the dropdown is empty, your tenant has no sender identifier available, and no SMS campaign can be sent: request one through support@ncsapp.com before you build the campaign.
