2.3 Understand the two sets of role names
The product uses two different names for each of its two tenant roles, depending on which screen you are on. They are the same two roles.
| Rôle | Shown in the Roles column as | Offered in the Sélectionnez Roles field as |
|---|---|---|
| Locataire administrator | Admin | Locataire Admin |
| Standard user | Member | Utilisateur |
So a user you created as Utilisateur appears in the list as Member, and a user you created as Locataire Admin appears as Admin. Nothing has changed about the account.
What each role grants:
- Locataire Admin (displays as Admin) grants full administrative access to the tenant, including users, branding, billing, integrations and configuration. A Locataire Admin can disable and delete other Locataire Admins.
- Utilisateur (displays as Member) grants standard access based on the permissions attached to the account, with no administrative rights.
Assign Locataire Admin only to people who need tenant-wide configuration access, and keep at least two Locataire Admin accounts so that one locked-out administrator does not lock out the tenant.
